WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10), member of the House Oversight Committee, has sent a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel demanding answers about the security and integrity of the Epstein files. This week Director Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi held a press conference where they refused to answer multiple questions about a timeline for releasing the files, what information will be released, and how re-opening the investigation will affect what files are released.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) released the following statement after the House passed the bill to force the release of the Epstein files:

“I just voted YES to release the Epstein files to the public, but we didn’t need this vote. The Oversight Committee subpoenaed these files months ago, and the President could have just released them. While we already have the files released by the Epstein Estate, the FBI and DOJ are sitting on tens of thousands more.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10), a member of the House Ethics Committee, has introduced a House Rules Committee amendment to strip a government funding bill provision that would allow eight Republican U.S. Senators to claim at least $500,000 in taxpayer money over phone record collections during Jan. 6th investigation. This provision would also limit the federal government’s ability to defend itself against such claims. 

"The United Nations recently took steps to remove terror-related sanctions on Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa. And I welcome the  results of today's meeting, including another 180 days of temporary sanctions relief. At this critical moment after over a decade of civil war, I hope President al-Sharaa's visit to Washington marks a step towards achieving a stable and secure Syria and brighter future for the Syrian people.

Washington, D.C. – This week, Congressman Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) introduced the Keep Main Street Open Act to establish an emergency stimulus program for small businesses that have been financially impacted by the government shutdown. The program would be run by the Small Business Administration and be available to eligible applicants immediately.
