Tours and Tickets

All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.

The following are policies determined by the White House for those requesting tours through Congressional Offices:

Tours must be requested at least three weeks in advance.
Tours are only available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

If you are submitting a request for a Christmas tour of the White House, please note that we have reached the small booking capacity we have been allocated by the White House and, unfortunately, cannot accommodate your request. For tours in January and beyond, please submit your request. The White House is resuming public tours on January 13, 2026.

PLEASE NOTE: The White House Visitors Center requires that U.S. citizens must present a REAL ID or passport to access the White House Complex. Non-REAL IDs, such as a regular driver's license, will no longer be accepted for any guests. For more information about REAL ID, please see here.

Please choose three dates everyone in your party is available to tour the White House. Tours are available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The tours are self-guided.

White House tours may be submitted up to 6 months in advance, but no later than 3 weeks before the requested tour date.

Constituents who are hard of hearing or use a video phone have the option to choose TDD or VP based on the type of device they are using. This allows our office to respond to them accordingly. The default option 'Voice' is a standard audible telephone.
